Quality Assurance/Quality Control Technician

Steady infrastructure work. Travel-based field role.

We’re hiring a detail-driven QA/QC Technician to inspect fiber and utility construction projects across multiple states. This role requires frequent travel and independent field work to ensure installations meet plans, specifications, and safety standards.

If you take pride in accuracy, documentation, and holding crews to high standards — this role is for you.

What You’ll Do:
  • Inspect cable installation, routing, terminations, labeling, and grounding.
  • Verify work aligns with project plans and specifications.
  • Identify and document deficiencies with recommended solutions.
  • Perform material and installation checks.
  • Prepare clear inspection reports.
  • Work alongside field crews to maintain quality standards.
 
Travel required approximately 75% (3–4 days per week, including out-of-state projects).

What You Bring:
  • Construction or fiber installation experience preferred.
  • Ability to read plans and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean record.
  • Procore experience is a plus.
  • Must pass drug screen and background check.
