Windwave is seeking a Fiber Splicer to support fiber network construction and deployment projects. This role is responsible for performing high-quality fiber splicing, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure network performance and reliability.

This is a field-based position working closely with construction and operations teams on active projects.

·       Perform fiber optic splicing (single fiber and ribbon)

·       Conduct testing using OTDR, power meters, and related equipment

·       Read and interpret splice diagrams, prints, and network designs

·       Troubleshoot fiber issues and resolve signal loss or connectivity problems

·       Prepare and maintain accurate splice documentation and test results

·       Install, prep, and organize fiber in closures, cabinets, and panels

·       Maintain a safe and organized job site

·       Coordinate with crews and supervisors to meet project timelines 

·       2+ years of fiber splicing experience

·       Experience with OTDR testing and fiber troubleshooting

·       Ability to read and interpret fiber prints and splice diagrams

·       Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy

·       Ability to work independently and as part of a crew

·       Valid driver’s license with clean record

*Must pass drug screen and background check.

Field-based role working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Travel may be required depending on project needs. Overtime available based on project schedules.
